Directions

From the south:

  1. Come off at J36 “The Lakes”

  2. Head on the A591 for Ambleside

  3. Once at Waterhead (Ambleside) follow signs for A593 (Coniston/Langdale)

  4. Continue through Clappersgate

  5. Follow sign on right to High Close YHA turn right here

  6. Take your first left past the houses

  7. We are on your right Neaum Crag slate sign at entrance

From the north:

  1. Come off at J40

  2. Take A66 signposted Penrith/Keswick/Brough

  3. Follow on until you reach the A591 signposted Ambleside/Windermere

  4. From Ambleside follow directions to A593 (Coniston/Langdale)

  5. Continue through Clappersgate

  6. Follow sign on right to High Close YHA turn right here

  7. Take your first left past the houses

  8. We are on your right Neaum Crag slate sign at entrance
