Robinson Tarn holiday lodge sits in an enviable location on the woodland estate of Neaum Crag with views of some of the most breathtaking fells in the whole of the Lake District. Robinson Tarn holiday lodge is just a short drive from Ambleside, Windermere, Coniston, Grasmere and within walking distance of the charming village of Langdale, making it a great base to explore the Lake District from.

Robinsons Tarn sleeps up to 6 people and features 3 bedrooms making it the perfect choice for those with large families. When you drive onto this beautiful woodland estate you will find Robinson Tarn close to the entrance set in an enviable position. The property has views across several fells, included the spectacular Black Fell, which is well known for its challenging climbing. This holiday lodge has the benefit of just a couple of shallow steps giving easier access to the property, especially for those with walking difficulties.

Entering Robinson Tarn holiday lodge you walk into a large open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, which is a great place for socialising and getting the family together to share the memories of the day you have just spent in the Lakes. The bright and modern kitchen is fully equipped with single electric oven with induction hob, extractor, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, fridge freezer and Tassimo coffee machine (Please note you will need to bring your own coffee pods) A complimentary bottle of prosecco, biscuits and teabags await you on your arrival.

The lounge consists of 2 large comfy leather sofas to seat 6. Robinson Tarn also features a BT vision box with many pre-recorded films, a Blu-ray/DVD player and Netflix. If you would like to play music in the property, then it comes with its own Bluetooth speaker. The lounge also comes well equipped with a wide selection of walking books and locally themed books to pour over. BT infinity Wi-Fi is included.

The double bedroom which affords a wonderful view of Black Fell has a built-in wardrobe and dresser unit, electric panel heater, and patio doors that open onto the veranda.

The twin bedroom with full sized single beds has a single wardrobe, bedside drawers and an electric panel heater which makes a great space for children or another couple.

The bunk room has two slightly smaller beds which are more suitable for children, a small wardrobe and drawers, and a good selection of games.

The bathroom has a large modern shower cubicle with electric shower, toilet, and wash hand basin. There is also a shaver point, electric towel rail and illuminated mirrored cabinet.

The outside space is functional and has great views across the estate to the fells beyond, it also includes a covered decked area with stylish garden furniture where you can dine alfresco or enjoy a glass of wine while you watch the sun set over this spectacular landscape. In addition to this there is a patio area with additional seating and we encourage guests to top up the bird feeders with the bird feed provided, as we often get a wide range of birds visiting the estate, if you’re lucky you may even see a red squirrel.

The property also has access to the onsite swimming pool, games room and Laundry all located just a short walk from Robinson Tarn, open daily from 1st March - 15th November.

Robinson Tarn is just a short drive from many of the popular Lake District destinations and is an ideal base for larger families or couples looking for a bit more space. We recommend visiting Cathedral Caves while you are in the Lake District. Located just a short drive from Neaum Crag in Little Langdale, Cathedral Caves which also goes by the name of Cathedral quarries, is a small network of interlinked quarries with the main chamber standing 40 feet high. Just a little further down the road located just outside of Coniston is Hodge Close quarry, another fascinating destination in the Lakes, both well worth a visit.
