Flat Tarn is a 2-bedroom holiday lodge situated at the top of this secluded woodland estate in a small cul-de-sac and features beautiful views across this estate. As you drive up to this property you have a set of steps leading up to the large decking area and the benefit of private parking for 1 car at the front of the property. This holiday lodge is a great option for families with small children from where you can explore everything that the Lake District has to offer.

Flat Tarn is located toward the top of this stunning woodland estate and commands spectacular views across the Lake District fells and is the perfect option for families looking for a holiday lodge in the Lake District. Flat Tarn is a short drive from many of the popular Lake District destinations including Ambleside, Grasmere, Coniston, Langdale and Hawkshead and makes a great base to explore everything this beautiful area has to offer. Situated just a 5-minute walk from this property is the stunning Loughrigg Tarn one of the many bodies of water in the Lake District and makes a great place to picnic at.

Entering the property, you come into the open plan living/dining and kitchen area which creates a great space for socialising and sharing your stories from your days adventure. The lounge area features a large comfy two-seater sofa and a further two lounging chair. There is a flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD player, Free Wi-Fi and a wall mounted electric panel heater to keep you cosy and warm in the colder evenings. Moving through the open plan room there is a dining table with 4 chairs just before you reach the modern kitchen area which features electric oven and hob, Hotpoint combi microwave oven, full sized fridge freezer and comes with the added benefit of a slimline dishwasher. The property also comes with toaster, kettle and all cutlery and crockery.

The double bedroom features a built-in wardrobe, dresser unit and an electric wall mounted heater. It also features double patio doors opening to the outside space onto the covered porch where you can enjoy your morning breakfast from before heading out on one of the popular Lake District fells.

The twin bedroom features two single beds with a double fitted wardrobe, full length mirror and has the added benefit of having its own wall mounted flat TV screen.

The bathroom features a modern three-piece suite with shower cubicle with electric shower, WC, and wash hand basin, perfect for refreshing after a long day walking across some of the popular Lake District fells. The bathroom also features a mirror with light, shaver point and an electric towel rail.

The outside space in this property is a great size and features a large wrap around rattan style seating along with a wooden garden style table with 4 further seats making it a great space for entertaining.

The property also has access to the onsite swimming pool, games room and Laundry all located just a short walk from Flat Tarn. Open daily from 1st March - 15th November.

Flat Tarn holiday lodge is a great option for families or 2 couples looking for their next holiday in the Lake District and with it being just a 5 minute drive from Ambleside it makes a great base for exploring most of the Lake District’s attractions. We recommend heading towards Hawkshead and making a right up towards the Drunken Duck, from there you can head up to Tarn Hows, which is a great place to do a circular walk around the tarn while enjoying what is one of many locals favorite places in the Lake District. We would highly recommend stopping at the Drunken Duck on the way back and grabbing some lunch.
