This holiday lodge is the perfect option for those with a larger family where you can experience everything the Lake District has to offer from.

Loweswater Tarn is located close to the entrance of Neaum Crag in an enviable location on this stunning woodland estate and features breathtaking views across both the estate and fells beyond. Loweswater Tarn is just a short drive from many of the popular destinations in the Lake District including, Grasmere, Langdale, Ambleside, Coniston and Hawkshead, making it an ideal location to explore everything the Lake District has to offer, with the added benefit of having a number of popular walks from the doorstep.
On driving up to this lodge, the first thing you will notice is just how much space surrounds the property, which only adds to that secluded feel you already get when driving onto Neaum Crag. The gravel garden area is large and features a range of garden benches and a table where you can enjoy the spectacular views with a morning coffee, before heading out exploring the Lake District fells. The property also has the benefit of 2 private parking spaces.
Loweswater Tarn holiday lodge has the added benefit of being dog friendly, and the Lake District is the ideal destination that any dog will enjoy, especially with all the new sights and smells that the Lakes has to offer. Walking into the property you enter the open plan kitchen/dining and living area with patio doors that lead on to the deck area and garden beyond.
Loweswater Tarn features 3 bedrooms: 1 king, 1 twin, 1 bunk bedroom and shower room.
The modern well-appointed kitchen consists of a single oven/grill, ceramic hob with extractor hood, microwave, kettle, toaster, and filter coffee machine. The lodge benefits from a separate fridge and freezer giving ample space to stock up for your self-catering holiday in the Lake District.
The living area has ample seating with a large 3-seater sofa, a 2-seater sofa, and a single chair with two-foot stools and a coffee table. A large electric heater, flat screen TV, Blu-Ray DVD, and Freeview Box. The lodge has the added benefit of free Wi-Fi and comes with the addition of plenty of books, DVDs and popular board games that are great for families to play in the evenings.
The master bedroom has a king bed, wall mounted electric heater, bedside cabinets, double fitted wardrobes, dressing table and patio doors that open up onto a covered porch deck, perfect for taking in that fresh morning Lake District air and listening to the morning bird song. The twin bedroom features a wall mounted heater, bedside cabinet and double fitted wardrobes. The bunk bedroom consists of two single beds at a 90° angle suitable for children and an additional large cupboard for storage.
A 3-piece suite in the bathroom includes shower cubicle, basin, toilet, electric towel rail, and illuminated cabinet.
The outside space is surrounded by natural woodland and features garden furniture where you can enjoy the evening sun setting across the Lake District fells beyond.
The property also has access to the onsite swimming pool, games room and Laundry all located just a short walk from Loweswater Tarn, open daily from 1st March - 15th November.
Loweswater Tarn holiday lodge is only a short drive from many of the popular Lake District destinations, making this property a great base for those larger families or those families who don’t want their family dog to miss out on the Lake District adventure. We recommend heading into the Langdale valley and spending the day hiking the popular Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain. Scafell Pike is one of the more challenging walks at around 11 miles depending which route you take and takes around 8 hours to complete, so make sure you’re well prepared if you do decide to tackle this.
N.B 2 sets of steps down to the lodge do not book if mobility is an issue!
