Watendlath Tarn holiday lodge is situated in an enviable, elevated position on the stunning woodland estate of Neaum Crag, with commanding views across this estate. Just a short drive from this location you can reach many of the popular Lake District villages including Ambleside, Langdale, Grasmere, Hawkshead and Coniston, making it the perfect location for those wanting to explore everything the Lake District has to offer.

Entering this cosy holiday lodge, you walk into a modern open plan kitchen/dining area. The modern kitchen has an electric oven with extractor, microwave and fridge with a freezer compartment making it perfect for those looking for self-catering accommodation in the Lake District.

The compact lounge area features a modern 2-seater sofa and 2 comfy modern armchairs with flat screen Smart TV, an electric wood burner effect heater and electric panel heater wall mounted for those colder nights.

The well appointed double bedroom has built in wardrobes and dresser unit, with an electric wall mounted heater and includes that all important hairdryer and alarm clock.

The twin bedroom includes bunk beds, which are standard mattress length and 2.5ft wide, (suitable for children) with the option to raise the top bunk securely out of the way to allow for more head room on the bottom bunk, when the top bunk is not in use. This room also has a single fitted wardrobe.

 The bathroom has a modern three-piece suite with shower cubicle with a Mira electric shower, WC, and wash hand basin. There is a mirrored cabinet with shelf, shaver point and an electric towel rail.

Watendlath Tarn holiday lodge also features private parking for 2 cars and a stunning outside enclosed decking area with picnic table where you can enjoy an evening of al fresco dining with a glass of wine while looking out over the beautiful woodland that surrounds this stunning private holiday lodge estate.

The property also has access to the onsite swimming pool, games room and Laundry all located just a short walk from Watendlath lodge, open daily from the 1st March - 15th November.

Watendlath lodge is just a short drive from Ambleside and has several walks that you can do right from the doorstep. We recommend the popular walk from Skelwith Bridge to Elterwater which sees you walk along a wooded area, passing a waterfall before setting eyes on Elterwater itself. The end of the walk see you arrive in the small village of Elterwater, where you can stop off at the Britannia Inn and sample some of the tasty local ales or grab a spot of lunch.
