Tarn Moss holiday lodge is situated near the entrance of Neaum Crag surrounded by mature woodland giving you a real sense of nature and a chance to recharge. The holiday lodge also has breathtaking views across Weatherlam and the surrounding Lake District fells. Tarn Moss is located near Ambleside on the Neaum Crag estate at Skelwith Bridge and just a short drive to some of the Lake District’s most popular villages including Windermere just a short 20 minute drive and Grasmere just a 15 minute scenic drive over Red Bank.

You enter the property through the main door into a contemporary, modern open plan kitchen and dining area. The kitchen and dining area consists of modern units providing ample storage, with electric cooker, hob, and extractor hood, perfect for creating your next master chef style dish that your guests can enjoy. The lodge also features a De Longhi Coffee Machine, although coffee pods are not provided, so please bring your own if you are looking for that caffeine hit before heading out to the fells for the day. Other appliances include a microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment and the bonus of a dishwasher. The round dining table with seating for 4 is situated next to a window overlooking the gravelled patio area and the stunning views beyond.

The Kitchen leads onto the spacious modern living area allowing for guests to relax while watching TV, reading a book, or looking out of the large window and patio doors watching the local birds feeding from feeders outside. There is ample comfy seating on two sofas a TV, DVD, Wi-Fi, and an electric wood burning effect heater all make this the perfect space for socialising. The double doors from the living area open onto the patio area which features a picnic bench and garden seat for two further people, making it a perfect space to enjoy those warm summer evenings.

The master bedroom has a king bed, bedside tables and fitted wardrobes and is a great space for relaxing and recharging for the next day of exploring everything the Lake District has to offer.

The twin bedroom has bunk beds with a single fitted wardrobe. The bathroom has a white 3-piece suite, shower cubicle with electric shower unit, electric towel rail and shaver point.

The property also has access to the onsite swimming pool, games room and Laundry all located just a short walk from Tarn Moss. Open daily from 1st March - 15th November.

Tarn Moss is just a short drive from many of the popular Lake District destinations, making this an ideal location for couples or families. We would recommend the walk over Red Bank into Grasmere from the front door of your lodge and stopping for some delicious Grasmere Gingerbread or at one of the many cafes Grasmere has to offer. You could even walk the lakeshore route back to the property and stop off at the popular Loughrigg tarn if you wanted to extend your walk. Another great option is to visit the Wordsworth museum situated in Grasmere.
