Wastwater Lodge is situated in the heart of the Lake District National Park set within 18 acres of private woodland estate. The perfect family retreat offering an en-suite master bedroom, a twin room which by request can be made into the luxury of a super king bed and a third bunk bedroom perfect for the kids. Be rest assured if the Grandparents want to join you for your Lake District holiday the lodge affords two bathrooms allowing for the freedom of a private bathroom facility so there is no queue in the morning.

Situated towards the top of Neaum Crag Estate with its own private deck commanding views of many of the ancient trees within the woodland estate.  With private parking for up to three vehicles, guests can park up and be adventurous on foot with the knowledge they can wander freely in all directions, visiting many neighbouring villages from Ambleside via Loughrigg Fell or Grasmere via Deer Bolts Wood and the lake shore path.

A short drive from many of the traditional Lakeland villages ideal if you require last minute provisions, Ambleside being known by the locals as the outdoor retail shop capital, Grasmere renowned for Grasmere Gingerbread and Keswick who still hold the award for the most dog friendly town in Britain for the third time running.

Enter to the open plan kitchen dining and living area. With a modern light and spacious kitchen, including electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer dishwasher and washing machine. Dining table to seat 6 people.

The living area features a large leather sofa, 2 leather chairs and a comfy club chair, Smart TV for those wet days including the lodges own Netflix account, Free Wi-Fi to help with planning your weeks adventures and double doors leading out to the covered porch and private deck where guests can sit back with a coffee and a good book and escape the everyday mundane home life.

Wastwater Lodge features three bedrooms, the king master bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom, it has a built-in wardrobe, bedside tables and patio doors leading on to the covered decked porch. The second bedroom has twin beds which by request can be made up into a super king bed with a fitted wardrobe and bedside drawers, the third bedroom consists of two single beds positioned at a 90-degree angle, a bedside cabinet and cupboard.

The main bathroom has a modern three-piece suite with shower cubicle with an electric shower, WC and wash hand basin. There is a mirror with lights, and an electric towel rail. The master bedroom boasts its own en-suite with shower cubicle WC, wash hand basin and towel rail.

The lodge has access to the onsite swimming pool open daily from 1st March - 15th November.

The Lake District caters for the whole family so there is no need to leave your four-legged friend behind.  It’s the perfect location for exploring the fells or taking a dip in one of the many waters. With Loughrigg Tarn being a short stroll from the estate you can pop to see Malcolm the Farmer at Tarn Foot Farm and purchase a fishing permit for the day, or for those hardcore anglers in the family wanting something a little more adventurous Esthwaite Water offers 280-acres of private water with excellent facilities for boat or bank fishing with some of the best predator ,trout and course fishing in the UK.
